Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced engineer to lead munition, warhead, and fuze certification efforts, interfacing with review entities and customers. You will develop and present critical documentation and collaborate with engineering, operations, product management, and support teams to ensure safety and certification readiness.

You will plan testing milestones, document root causes and corrective actions, and coordinate with vendors on safety qualifications while supporting program

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in mechanical, systems, aerospace, or another engineering discipline
• 5+ years in design, safety, certification, and systems engineering of a munition system
• Experience with warhead/fuze review boards
• Munitions system certification or qualification experience
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-1901
• Experience in program, customer and vendor management, and managing schedules and budgets
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for testing and meetings
• Experience preparing formal documentation (specifications, test procedures, reports)
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration
• Top Secret clearance eligibility
• Active DoD security clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to achieve munition, warhead, and fuze certification with review entities
• Create, review, manage, and present documentation to customers and boards
• Engage with technical and business teams to ensure accuracy of safety/certification data
• Plan and document testing milestones to accelerate reviews
• Document root cause and corrective actions
• Oversee updates to requirements, change control, traceability, and reliability matrices
• Create frameworks for government reviews and system certifications
• Coordinate with key vendors for safety qualifications
