City of Azusa seeks a Finance Manager to lead accounting, reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general ledger functions. The role ensures strong internal controls and compliance with governmental standards under the Administrative Services Department.

The position reports to the Director of Administrative Services and guides financial planning, budgeting and strategic financial analysis to support City operations and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, business, or a closely related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressive professional experience in accounting and finance, including at least three (3) years in local government, and at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsabilités

• Organizes, manages and supervises City accounting, auditing, accounts payable/receivable, cash collection, general ledger, payroll, purchasing/stores and financial reporting.
• Develops division goals and objectives; recommends policies and implements procedures for division operations.
• Administers City’s annual budget and coordinates budgeting activities of other departments.
• Maintains General Ledger and prepares comprehensive division and city reports.
