Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Maintenance & Repair Worker III to join our Dahlgren, VA team, supporting NSWC Facilities Maintenance Support. The role requires advanced skills across painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work, with duties including patching walls, repairing fixtures, and reading blueprints.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in maintenance on military/civilian sites, a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years experience in operations and maintenance on military or civilian facilities.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Hazardous Materials/EM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repair across trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.
• Repair or replace fixtures, walls, ceilings, sinks, toilets, doors and windows.
• Operate from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions and plan lay out work.
• Assist other trades personnel as needed.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Adhere to safety and security requirements including obtaining a Secret clearance.
