Job summary

W.E. O’Neil Construction seeks a Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations on large multifamily projects from startup through turnover.

You will own safety, schedule, quality, and trade performance, mentoring Superintendents and guiding teams from Pleasanton office. You will influence preconstruction, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and sequencing to ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with clients, subs, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Lead large, complex multifamily projects from startup to turnover.
• Experience with preconstruction, constructability reviews, logistics planning.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
• Strong leadership and mentorship of field personnel.
• Expert understanding of means, methods, sequencing, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and promote a jobsite culture of safety, accountability, planning and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate safety, schedule, quality, logistics, and staffing risks early; develop recovery plans.
• Lead delivery strategy from startup through closeout, including scheduling, sequencing, logistics, and staffing.
• Ensure quality standards, commissioning requirements, and turnover objectives are met.
• Develop logistics plans, site utilization plans, and staffing strategies; support procurement planning.
