Job summary

EQV Group is seeking a Regulatory Manager to lead regulatory compliance and permitting across its producing asset base. The role focuses on multi-state federal, state, and local frameworks, requiring cross-functional collaboration with operations, land, and HSE teams to maintain good standing and production objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, communicative professional with deep regulatory expertise, strong agency relationships, and the ability to influence strategy and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, regulatory affairs, or related field; 8+ years upstream regulatory experience.
• Proven experience managing federal, state, tribal filings and permitting across multiple states.
• Experience with plugging and abandonment, inactive well compliance, and financial assurance requirements.
• Strong communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage regulatory filings and authorizations for producing assets.
• Lead regulatory strategy, ensure ongoing compliance, and monitor deadlines.
• Coordinate with land, operations, and HSE teams to maintain regulatory standing.
• Oversee third-party consultants and support due diligence for transactions.
• Support emergency response and incident tracking as needed.
