General Construction Contractors Inc in Watsonville, CA seeks a driven Multi Family Housing Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations, manage crews, and deliver quality results. Take ownership of job sites, coordinate with Project Manager, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include safety enforcement per OSHA, reviewing blueprints, supervising subcontractors, coordinating materials and site logistics, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/multi-family construction methods and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trade crews simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and trade crews throughout all project phases.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high construction standards.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment scheduling, and site logistics.
• Manage all documentation of daily activity of the jobsite along with weekly report with taking photos of completed work each day.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to go over project progress.
• Attend meetings through Teams.
• Coordinate with office staff
