Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Multi-Domain Modeling and Simulation Engineer for USAFWC Exercise support at Nellis AFB, NV.

The role develops multi-domain system models using AFSIM and supports mission-level decision making across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains. You will craft scenarios, evaluate system behavior with AFSIM, STK, and SOAP, and produce decision-quality briefs for senior defense leaders.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years working with defense systems, aerospace engineering, or military operations analysis.
• 7+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably using AFSIM.
• Deep understanding of military operations at mission/campaign level; DoD program experience.
• Experience with multi-domain scenario development and ingestion of scenarios into M&S systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop models of multi-domain systems and software in mission-level simulations using AFSIM.
• Create advanced models of air, ground, maritime, and space systems; conduct model evaluation and validation.
• Build realistic threat trajectories, target behaviors, and engagement scenarios for missile warning, tracking, and defense systems.
• Write assessment and analysis scripts using Python, MATLAB, C++, or JAVA.
• Analyze simulation results to communicate system and software effectiveness in real-world contexts.
