Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Cloud Systems Manager to lead a hybrid, multi-cloud IT organization. You will shape infrastructure strategy, mentor a team, and partner with executives to drive AI-enabled governance and secure, scalable platforms.

You will oversee operations across VMware, Windows Server, Linux, AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI, implement IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Packer), and manage budgets, vendor relations, and performance metrics to elevate reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Systems/Cloud Engineering with 3–5 years in a formal technical leadership or management role.
• Deep operational expertise with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Windows Server administration, and Enterprise Linux environments.
• Multi-Cloud production workloads across AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI.
• Hands-on automation and orchestration with Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or cloud-native IaC frameworks.
• Strong networking (VPCs/VNets) and security concepts including IAM and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience designing and testing Disaster Recovery/BCP across hybrid/multi-cloud setups.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure strategy and roadmap, coordinating with senior management to align initiatives with business priorities and AI-enabled innovation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure professionals.
• Establish SOPs, escalation paths, and operational SLAs/SLOs; drive capacity planning and transformation.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across VMware, Windows Server, Linux, AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to standardize deployments across clouds.
• Establish governance models for multi-cloud management and platform interconnectivity.
• Develop the systems infrastructure, governance, identity, and data foundations for enabling enterprise AI.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and licensing; drive FinOps practices.
