Job summary

Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC seeks a Tech/Production AD to lead the Production Ministry under the Production Director. You will ensure weekend services, rehearsals, and major events run smoothly by coordinating volunteers and technical staff.

This role blends hands-on AVL knowledge with leadership, organization, and problem-solving to build disciplined, distraction-free environments that support the church's mission.

Qualifications

• Leadership and collaboration with Production Director to execute vision across campuses.
• Experience coordinating volunteer teams for events and services.
• Strong AVL knowledge including audio, video, lighting, and projection systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under pressure.
• Experience in scheduling, planning, and coordinating service plans.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Production Director to execute the vision and standards for Production across all campuses.
• Oversee technical execution of weekend services, rehearsals, special services, and major events.
• Ensure production environments are prepared, tested, and ready for service.
• Coordinate with Worship, Creative, Campus, and ministry leaders to communicate needs.
• Serve as Production Lead/Technical Director for services and events as needed.
• Recruit, train, equip, schedule, and develop Production Team volunteers.
• Maintain knowledge of AVL systems, networking, and other production technologies.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to campus Production leaders as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and system improvements.
• Maintain documentation for production systems and configurations.
• Assist with AVL installations, upgrades, and expansions.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Evaluate new technology for ministry needs and reliability.
