Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Level III in Millburg, MI to join a growing precision manufacturing team. The role demands reading blueprints, GD&T, and multi-axis setup with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You will operate multi-axis CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with a collaborative team to maximize productivity while adhering to safety and quality standards. The shift is B, with a 4:30 PM–3:00 AM schedule and a 10% shift premium.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment.
• Experience with multi-axis machining.
• Gantry, Swiss, or Mill/Turn experience preferred.
• Citizen/Star machine experience a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC machines
• Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Make machine adjustments and tool offsets to maintain quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas
• Work closely with team members to improve processes and maximize productivity
• Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
