Job summary

Steneral Consulting seeks a senior QA engineer to design and implement a comprehensive automated testing strategy for MuleSoft integrations with Salesforce and external systems. You will build, maintain, and expand automated suites for integration, API, regression, and end-to-end tests, focusing on data transformation, retry behavior, and edge cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing MuleSoft integrations.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external apps using REST, SOAP, Bulk, Platform Events.
• Experience managing test data and environments for integration testing.
• Proven ability to build automated API and integration tests (MUnit, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Karate).
• Solid understanding of REST, asynchronous messaging, OAuth, and error handling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing strategy for MuleSoft integrations.
• Build and maintain automated integration, API, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Validate bidirectional data flow between Salesforce and external systems including data transformation and retry logic.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and improve overall integration quality.
• Troubleshoot defects across Salesforce, MuleSoft, and downstream systems; perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, MuleSoft developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to include automated integration testing.
• Establish testing standards, metrics, and coverage for enterprise integrations.
• Document testing patterns and coverage to enable scale.
