Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Lead MuleSoft Developer to drive end-to-end integration projects. You will design, develop, and guide teams across MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, and API-led connectivity to deliver scalable and robust integrations for clients.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, RAML/OpenAPI, and strong client-facing communication. This hybrid role supports multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years IT experience with strong integration development.
• Extensive hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4 experience.
• Proficient in DataWeave 2.0 transformations.
• Experience designing RESTful and SOAP APIs/services; RAML/OpenAPI knowledge.
• API-Led Connectivity implementation experience (System/Process/Experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MuleSoft design, development, and support activities.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to refine integration requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and APIs.
• Develop MuleSoft integrations using Mule 4 and API-led connectivity.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs and services.
• Provide technical leadership via code/design reviews and best practices.
• Mentor development teams through implementation and testing.
• Coordinate with Architects, QA, DevOps for delivery.
• Drive defect resolution, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery with enterprise standards adherence.
