Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead MuleSoft Developer to drive end-to-end integration initiatives using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will lead development teams, design APIs, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver scalable integration solutions.

The role requires hands-on MuleSoft experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication for a hybrid role based in multiple US locations including Chicago. Capgemini offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

7-10+ years of IT experience with integration development.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
Strong DataWeave 2.0 transformations.
Experience designing RESTful and SOAP APIs and services.
Strong knowledge of RAML/OpenAPI Specifications.
Hands-on experience implementing API-Led Connectivity (System, Process, and Experience APIs).
Experience with API design, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support capabilities.
Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring development teams.
Excellent client-facing communication, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership abilities.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end MuleSoft design, development, implementation, and support activities.
Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine integration requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, APIs, and integration solutions.
Design and develop MuleSoft integrations using Mule 4 and API-led connectivity principles.
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based services and APIs.
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, and development best practices.
Guide development teams through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
Work closely with Architects, QA, DevOps, and application teams to manage technical dependencies and deliver solutions successfully.
Drive defect resolution, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
Ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to enterprise development standards.
