Job summary

Releady, a healthcare technology company, is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to own integrations across finance, HR, legal, and GTM. You will design, build, deploy, and support integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and manage the CI/CD lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data transformation and mapping skills.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

We are partnering with a healthcare technology client who is hiring a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to own integrations for its corporate systems across finance, HR, legal, and go-to-market teams. The engineer owns the full integration lifecycle: gathering requirements from business teams, designing the solution, building it, deploying it through CI/CD, and supporting it in production. The role also administers the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform that these integrations run on.

The first major initiative is the transition from Oracle into Workday. The rollout happens in waves, so Oracle and Workday will run side by side for a period. This engineer will build the integrations that keep both systems in sync, repoint downstream systems, reconcile data, and support each cutover.

NOTE: Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Not eligible for C2C

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (six-month contract term)

Location: Hybrid - 2x/week onsite; San Diego, Long Beach, Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, or Oakland (SF Bay Area)

Compensation: $75 - $85/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements & Stakeholder Partnership

• Gather integration requirements directly from finance, HR, legal, and go-to-market stakeholders, and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs in clear, non-technical language.

Integration Design & Development

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform using Mule 4, DataWeave, and APIs defined in RAML or OAS.
• Build and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Web Services, RaaS, EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, or the MuleSoft Workday connector.
• Write SQL and data mappings that move and transform financial and HR data accurately between systems.

MuleSoft Platform Administration

• Administer and optimize Anypoint Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Exchange to keep integrations secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Implement and enforce API policies for authentication, authorization, rate limiting, logging, and transformations across the MuleSoft ecosystem.
• Monitor configuration changes, performance metrics, and incident response using MuleSoft and cloud-native monitoring tools.
• Develop reusable templates, connectors, and shared libraries, and publish documentation and best practices that help other teams build APIs with MuleSoft and OAS.

Oracle-to-Workday Migration

• Build synchronization integrations that keep Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Workday aligned while both systems are live.
• Repoint downstream systems to Workday, reconcile data between platforms, and support each wave of cutover.

Delivery & Production Support

• Build and own CI/CD pipelines for integration applications, including Maven builds, MUnit testing, and environment promotion.
• Support integrations in production, resolve incidents, and improve reliability over time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of integration or software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience (Mule 4, DataWeave, RAML/OAS) with ownership of integrations from design through production.
• Hands-on MuleSoft platform administration experience with Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, and API policy management.
• Workday integration experience in any module using Workday Web Services, RaaS, EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, or the MuleSoft Workday connector.
• Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines for integration apps using tools such as Maven, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, and MUnit.
• Strong SQL and data transformation and mapping skills.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of gathering requirements directly from non-technical business stakeholders.

Preferred

• Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or Financials integration experience, including FBDI, BI Publisher reports, or Oracle ERP Cloud APIs.
• Workday Financials experience and phased or wave-based ERP or HCM migration experience.
• Salesforce and other third-party API integration experience.
• Experience using AI coding assistants, and familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
