Job summary

Astreya in Oakland, CA is seeking a MuleSoft Senior Developer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integrations as part of a major GIS modernization program. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days onsite per week and requires deep hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4) and API-led connectivity to support utilities operations.

Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4) required.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise integration architecture for GIS modernization.
Lead API-led connectivity frameworks between GIS and enterprise systems.
Develop integrations across GIS, asset management, outage, and work management.
Define API design standards, DataWeave transformations, and event-driven architecture.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and secure integrations compliant with regulatory standards.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for MuleSoft environments.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and GIS stakeholders on strategy.
Drive root cause analysis, performance optimization, and reliability improvements.
