Job summary

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an Architect-level professional to lead the ICS practice in delivering API-based integrations and digital transformation projects. You will mentor junior staff, architect enterprise solutions, and collaborate with clients to map business needs to technical strategy.

You will work with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and related tools, shaping implementation across on-premises and cloud environments while staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Play a lead role within the ICS practice to promote, implement, and educate on API-based initiatives and industry trends.
• Maintain hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform skills and stay current with MuleSoft products and best practices.
• Engage on client projects as trusted advisor and architect to address questions and support delivery.
• Assist with solution planning for new clients and translate business requirements into technical approaches.
• Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to achieve goals with APIs.
• Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle on client engagements: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Help manage technical scope to prevent scope creep and deviations from contract.
• Follow best practices including version control, automated testing and deployment, and test-case-based development.
• Continue to develop professional and technical knowledge through workshops, webinars, and communities.
• Represent Sierra‑Cedar with integrity and professionalism at all times.
