Link High Technologies Inc. is an MSP located in Florham Park, NJ, serving clients throughout the tri-state area.

We are professional, fast-paced, and customer-centric. We are seeking an experienced Systems/Project Engineer with 5+ years of MSP experience to join our Projects Team. The role involves physical server implementations, Wi-Fi projects, Office 365 migrations, Azure Servers, Azure Virtual Desktops, Mimecast Email Security Gateway, and more. Many of our clients in manufacturing and distribution still maintain on-premise servers and network infrastructure that require ongoing support and expansion.

This is not a remote position. The engineer will report to our Florham Park office. Certification training materials and tests will be covered by the company. There is room for growth within the organization, and flexibility in scheduling is available if a remote day is needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

The candidate should be willing to perform a wide range of IT support tasks, from simple desktop support to complex server and network issues, as dictated by client needs and workload. The role involves collaboration with the remote support team, technical account managers, and project team members.

Qualifications and Skills

Non-Technical:

• Managing IT projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, often requiring collaboration with sales, engineering, and support teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous education, certification, and self-improvement.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to clients in an understandable manner.

Technical:

• 5+ years of recent professional experience with an MSP, VAR, or IT consulting firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (server and desktop), Active Directory, DNS.
• Proficiency with SonicWall or similar corporate firewalls.
• Highly proficient in Office 365 administration, troubleshooting, and migration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Intune.
• Proficiency with Azure Server and Virtual Desktops.
• Highly proficient in networking connectivity and VLANs.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare.
• Experience with backup technologies like Datto or similar.
• Experience with ConnectWise Manage, Automate, or similar products is highly desirable.
• Achieves all assigned technical training goals.
