Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology to be based in the Southern California territory, which includes Southern California (Los Angeles/San Diego) and Hawaii.

The Senior MSL is the field-based scientific expert, building relationships with KOLs and HCPs, and providing balanced, evidence-based medical information to inform medical engagement strategies and investigator-initiated studies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree required; post graduate experience preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant MSL experience in pharma.
• Therapeutic rheumatology familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
• Engage in high-quality, two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs.
• Provide scientific data and education to healthcare professionals.
• Stay updated on scientific trends and support investigator-initiated studies.
