Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) with Rheumatology expertise to cover the Ohio territory. Preferred locations are Cleveland or Columbus.

The Sr. MSL will act as scientific partner, engage with KOLs/HCPs, and support investigator-initiated studies while upholding compliance and scientific integrity. The role requires a Doctorate level degree and 2+ years of MSL experience, strong scientific acumen, and up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

Doctorate level degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent experience.
2+ years of relevant MSL experience.
Must be able to travel up to 70% across territory.
Residency/fellowship preferred.
Experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
Engage in high-quality scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
Identify and cultivate professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs.
Leverage insights to inform medical strategy and territory plans.
Provide support for investigator-initiated studies and internal trials.
