Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Therapeutic Area Medical Science Liaison (TA MSL) to be a credible scientific partner, providing clinical and health economic information about disease states and Genentech medicines. This field-based role engages healthcare providers, decision makers, and patients within their region to advance patient outcomes and co-create local medical strategies.

The TA MSL may cover multiple medicines, discuss value of care, and travel up to 70% for external meetings.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical/science degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry).
• Proficiency in GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Familiarity with health economics, reimbursement, and regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end customer experience for TA-specific customers in the region.
• Demonstrate deep scientific expertise to exchange information with thought leaders and healthcare decision makers.
• Build and leverage relationships with external scientific and medical customers to understand healthcare trends.
• Discuss value/cost of care and AE management beyond scientific exchange.
• Engage in ongoing learning and upskilling in the therapeutic area and adhere to guidelines.
