About Idorsia

Idorsia is headquartered in Switzerland with established commercial operations in the US, Canada, and major European locations. Our German commercial operations are based in Munich, supporting our ambition of translating innovative research into patient treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 (Senior) Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) across three countries, aligned with the brand and medical strategy.
- Share MSL insights with the Extended Brand Team and contribute to local strategy development.
- Ensure MSL deliverables align with the Medical Plan, MTA, and objectives.
- Track and manage the MSL budget effectively.
- Promote non-promotional, compliant behavior in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as per company principles, FSA Code of Practice, and local laws (e.g., HWG, AHG).
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), providing credible, balanced scientific information about Idorsia, its research, and products, understanding their perspectives and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize impact through non-promotional activities.
- Support team development through coaching and guidance.
- Maintain expertise in therapeutic areas by reviewing literature, participating in scientific events, and internal training.
- Share knowledge, gather insights, and educate internally and externally.
- Lead or participate in organizing HCP advisory boards or round tables.
- Assist in identifying investigators and research projects, supporting investigator-sponsored trials, and clinical collaborations.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Medical, Pharmacy, or Scientific degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar MSL role within Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, with deep knowledge of MSL activities and processes.
- Previous leadership and people management experience.
- Experience with product launches, preferably in neuroscience.
- Proven ability to engage in scientific dialogue with KOLs and researchers within the DACH region.
- Excellent presentation skills for various channels, including digital formats.
- Strong clinical research understanding and pharmaceutical development knowledge.
- Willingness to travel within DACH and to the head office as needed.
- Experience working in regulated environments, adhering to external and internal guidelines and SOPs.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluent in German and English.
