Job summary

EVERSANA is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison focused on GU Oncology, particularly non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). You will build scientific relationships with external experts, provide clinical input, and support advisory boards and congress activities while ensuring compliant scientific exchange.

The role requires a terminal or advanced clinical degree and significant oncology MSL experience, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree or advanced clinical degree required (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, MSN, NP, or PA-C).
• Demonstrated scientific, clinical, and business acumen with strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interpret, synthesize, and present complex scientific and clinical data to varied healthcare audiences.
• Experience operating in a field-based role and collaborating effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant institutions, research networks, professional societies, and healthcare systems in the assigned geography.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to compliant scientific exchange.
• Prior product launch, indication expansion, or lifecycle management experience preferred where relevant.
• MSL experience required/preferred: average 2 years pharma experience or > 5 years strong clinical /academic experience with strong external stakeholder engagement experience.
• Senior MSL experience required/preferred: Five or more years of MSL experience with at least 3 in oncology.
• Therapeutic area or disease-state experience: GU Oncology experience desired.
• Research, payer, value and evidence, or other specialized experience: Experience with viral vectors and cell and gene therapies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as the primary field medical and scientific point of contact within the assigned geography.
• Maintain current clinical and scientific expertise in GU Oncology and gene therapy.
• Engage in compliant scientific exchange with external experts and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and execute territory and external expert engagement plans; establish long-term scientific relationships.
• Understand relevant clinical protocols, trial outcomes, and evolving evidence base.
• Provide medical support, clinical input, and scientific training to internal teams as requested.
• Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional partners while maintaining independence.
• Travel up to 50% as business needs require.
