Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an MSAT Process Engineer/Scientist III to provide primary technical support for mammalian manufacturing processes.

You will drive process transfer activities, develop process understanding, and author critical documentation to ensure compliant operations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in biotech, with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years biotech experience in process development or scale-up/manufacturing.
• Experience with mammalian manufacturing processes and technical transfer is essential.
• Familiarity with GMP, regulatory requirements, and data-driven problem solving is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide process transfer and support for mammalian manufacturing operations.
• Develop process understanding, perform gap analysis, and author/ review processes and batch records.
• Lead or guide junior team members on transfer activities and troubleshooting.
• Support regulatory documentation and participate in customer/Regulatory audits.
