Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an MSAT Packaging Engineer to support lifecycle packaging, technology transfer and new product launches across their Innovative Medicines packaging network. The role emphasizes advanced packaging solutions, regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and commercial teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Packaging Engineering, 6+ years in pharma packaging, and strong knowledge of cGMP, packaging materials, and cold chain testing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years in packaging, labeling and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Passive Shipping Solutions and secondary/tertiary packaging designs.
• Knowledge of packaging distribution/testing for cold chain and non‑cold chain products.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle packaging equipment, tech transfer and launches.
• Support packaging line trials, qualification of equipment and materials.
• Drive cost improvement projects and sustainability initiatives in packaging.
• Provide QA investigations and root-cause analyses related to packaging.
