Job summary

Kamau Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an MSAT Engineer to join our MSAT team and act as a key in-plant technical presence at our CDMO.

You will drive technology transfer, oversee PPQ runs, review batch data in real time, and contribute to CMC content to enable BLA submission. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in MSAT/tech transfer or a PhD with relevant experience, hands-on GMP experience, and the ability to work onsite in South San Francisco or Redwood Shores, CA with substantial travel to CDMOs and

Qualifications

• BS in chemical, biological, or process engineering with 8+ years of MSAT/tech transfer or an MS/PhD with 6+ years.
• Experience leading or co-leading GMP tech transfer into a CDMO/CMO with PPQ protocols.
• Working knowledge of closed-system HSC or primary-cell processes and CPPs/CQAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site oversight of GMP engineering and PPQ campaigns at the CDMO.
• Lead technology transfer of next-gen HSC manufacturing process into the CDMO.
• Author/review PPQ protocols, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide weekly dashboards on manufacturing success and non-conformances.
• Support BLA/CMC readiness with process descriptions and validation data.
• Collaborate with CDMO MSAT, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
