Job summary

Argenta is hiring a Senior Chemist, MSAT at our Shawnee, KS site. The role leads the preparation of protocols and execution of cGMP analytical method development, transfer, verification, and validation of ingredients and finished drug product analyses.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple analytics projects, mentor other staff, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance while working with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related Science field with GMP/GLP lab experience.
• Proficient at HPLC and GC analysis and preparation of reagents for testing.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA manufacturing regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain detailed records for method development/validation and routine analysis per cGMP requirements.
• Independently manage design and execution of method transfer, verification, and validation protocols.
• Design and execute cleaning validation protocols with detailed reports to support regulatory submissions.
• Lead activities to develop analytical methods assessing purity, potency, and stability of drug substances and finished products.
• Provide training and mentorship; serve as backup for laboratory manager and oversee instrument qualification.
