Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to advance missile and air-dominance systems. You will build high-fidelity vehicle models, enable SITL/HITL/PITL pipelines, and integrate flight dynamics with mission autonomy software.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace modeling, C/C++, MATLAB/SIMULINK, and data analysis, with 8+ years of relevant experience and TS clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline
• 8+ years of experience
• Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems (including missiles, rotorcraft/VTOL) and/or Subsea vehicles
• Experience in flight dynamics/platform physics and control
• Proficiency with C/C++
• Advanced proficiency with MATLAB, SIMULINK, and scientific Python
• Flight test data processing/sim correlation experience
• Experience with developing sub‑system and system level models
• Experience with model development to support Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain high-fidelity virtual representations of diverse platforms
• Coordinate deployment and maintenance of vehicle models and simulation instantiations
• Develop models to support flight control and mission autonomy software
• Support SITL, HITL and PITL testing for safe flight tests
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary experts to model complex subsystems and systems
• Engage with customers to define simulation requirements and deliver solutions
