The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus strong written and oral communication, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work as part of a team to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5+ Years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Purchasing procedures and terms.
• Good written and oral communication skills and good presentation skills.
• Competent level of experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to calculate mathematical figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Procures and sources parts and services for the MRO procurement function of the company location or product line assigned.
• Analyzes quotations and evaluates suppliers for the purpose of making recommendations.
• Creates, compiles and distributes Request for Quotes to suppliers.
• Processes all maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) purchase orders. May assist in identifying and analyzing cost savings and negotiating price reductions.
• Assists with contract development and execution with suppliers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
