As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This role requires an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Demonstrated advanced imaging skills and techniques include competence in at least three of the following applications:

• MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac, neurovascular, peripheral vascular, with EPI applications like DWI, PWI, DTI, ASL
• MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, Breast, or Prostate
• MR Enterography, MR Defecography, and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil
• Interventional MR - MR Guided biopsies of breast or prostate
• Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain
• Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumors

You will support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.

*If you do not meet the experience standards for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI Technologist role.*

Salary Range

Staff Technologist: $49.73 - $65.56 per hour

Senior Technologist: $52.18 - $68.16 per hour

Overall Salary Range: $49.73 - $68.86 per hour

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years MRI experience required
• Licenses: a combination of ARRT and CRT with MR certification required, or ARRT and ARMRIT (MR)
• Venipuncture certification required
• BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Graduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program required
• AA or BS degree preferred
• Siemens experience preferred
• Ability to modify protocols to produce optimal diagnostic images
• Ability to train additional MR staff and perform advanced procedures independently
