Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL at Washington University Medical Center is seeking a Senior MRI Technologist for the Operating Room on a day-shift schedule. The role involves interventional and surgical MRI procedures and a pathway from a training period on day shift to a rotating 3 days/week schedule.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher, ARRT credentials in radiography or MR, and 2+ years of MRI/OR imaging experience, with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR.
• 2 years of MRI or OR imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently in various settings including on-call and portable exams.
• Oversees department quality assurance and participates in safety/quality initiatives.
• Mentors new employees and students under supervision.
• Contributes to patient experience and employee engagement initiatives.
