Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Senior MRI Technologist for the Operating Room at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role involves interventional and surgical MRI procedures and an initial day-shift training period before rotating to a 3-day, 12-hour shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of MRI or radiology experience, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, and an associate degree or higher in a related field. No on-call requirements are noted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR.
• 2 years' experience in radiology or MRI.
• ARMRIT or ARRT certification.
• MRI/OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Perform studies independently in OR and interventional settings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and QA under supervision.
• Mentor staff and students as needed.
• Lead in safety and patient experience improvements.
