Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist for the Operating Room on a day-shift schedule at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Training will occur on days for about 3 months before moving to a 3-day-per-week, 12-hour shift pattern.

Responsibilities include interventional and surgical MRI support across OR cases, with Siemens MRI machines and an emphasis on advanced modality imaging in a high-stakes surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR.
• ARMRIT or ARRT certification accepted.
• MRI and/or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
