Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: The Sr. MRI Technologist performs complex MRI procedures, prepares and administers contrast media, and acts as a technical expert. Responsibilities include ensuring staff competence, developing imaging protocols, managing research projects, and coordinating exams with other services. The role requires adherence to schedules, including on-call, holiday, and weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Venipuncture Certification
• Participation in on-call rotation
• At least 3 years recent MRI experience in an adult acute care facility
• Graduate of AMA Radiologic Tech program
• Current BLS Certification
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and develop appropriate work pace
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory requirements
• Bilingual skills
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Sciences
