Senior MRI Technologist- MRI IP- F / T Variable Shift

Position Summary :

The Sr. MRI Technologist performs complex MRI imaging procedures at least 60% of the time and may be assigned post-processing responsibilities. The role involves preparing and administering paramagnetic contrast media in accordance with hospital policies and regulations. The incumbent acts as a technical subject matter expert, ensuring staff competence, developing clinical protocols, and collaborating across modalities. They will also coordinate research projects, maintain accurate records, and participate in rotating shifts including on-call, holidays, and weekends.

Salary Range :

Hourly Rate Minimum $50.57, Midpoint $56.73, Maximum $62.89

Required Qualifications :
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • CRT license / certification
  • ARRT certification
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Graduate of AMA Radiologic Tech program
  • Minimum of three (3) years recent MRI experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility
  • ARRT-MR certification
  • Venipuncture Certification
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation
  • May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Bilingual skills for effective communication with patients and families
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Sciences
