Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Senior Rad Tech to mentor technologists, oversee imaging procedures, and maintain high-quality radiology services in the MRI department. You will guide orientation, participate in in-service programs, and ensure equipment and procedures meet stringent quality standards.

Working with radiologists and managers, you will implement procedure changes and communicate updates to the staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent to become A.R.R.T registered).
• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or a school accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
• Meets licensure and registration requirements for staff technologists for his/her respective area(s).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Advise technologists on performing procedures and ensure efficiency.
• Participate in orientation and in-service imaging programs.
• Perform quality checks on equipment and procedures to improve exam quality.
• Coordinate with radiologists and managers on policy changes and staff communication.
