Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Senior MRI Technologist to perform advanced MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and support departmental leadership. The role includes mentoring staff, coordinating equipment and operations, and contributing to QA and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of MRI experience, ARRT MRI certification, and an oncology-robust commitment to patient-centered care, with MA licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Allied Health required; bachelor's preferred.
• 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist.
• ARRT MRI certification; MA Radiologic Technologist license preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex MRI procedures with emphasis on safety and data integrity.
• Train and mentor staff, fellows, residents, and students in MRI techniques.
• Manage equipment and daily operations, QA projects, and inventory support.
• Provide leadership support by covering supervisory duties and driving improvements.
• Foster positive patient and family relations and explain procedures clearly.
