Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Senior MRI Technologist to perform complex MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and mentor staff. The role includes equipment management, QA projects, and leadership support to improve operations.

The candidate should have 3 years of MRI experience, ARRT MRI certification, MA licensure considerations, and a BLS certification. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 may be offered, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT MRI certification required/maintained.
• BLS certification; MA Radiologic Technologist license preferred in MA.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex MRI procedures with emphasis on patient safety and data integrity.
• Train and mentor staff, fellows, residents, and students in MRI techniques.
• Manage equipment and operations, conduct QA, assist with inventory and workflows.
• Provide leadership coverage for supervisors and champion new equipment or process improvements.
• Maintain strong patient/family relations, explain procedures clearly and respond empathetically.
