Position Details:

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose:

Performs all responsibilities of an Advanced Modality Technologist, assumes Lead Tech responsibilities in their absence, and assists in training students and new employees. The Senior Advanced Modality Technologist typically has three or more responsibilities in areas such as hospital initiatives, patient experience, quality assurance, process improvement, and mentorship, operating under the direction of the lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance (ACR, JC), maintains up-to-date information, and oversees quality assurance programs.
  • Participates in safety and quality improvement initiatives, leading efforts to enhance patient and employee experiences.
  • Mentors new staff and students under supervision.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
  • Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

  • Associate degree or trade school diploma
  • Experience:

  • 2-5 years
  • Supervisor Experience:

  • None required
  • Licenses & Certifications:

  • IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI)
  • R.T.(R), CT, MR, M, B, C, V, RCIS certifications
  • Preferred Requirements:

    Experience:

  • 5-10 years

  • CPR, Intravenous Therapy
