Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Sr. Scientist for MR R&D Collaborations based in New York, NY. You will drive collaborations with leading academic partners to advance MR research and translate findings into product features.

You will lead device-oriented research, develop and prototype novel techniques, and ensure integration with existing product lines while mentoring colleagues across departments.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field and outstanding relevance to MR imaging.
• Strong communication across formats: writing, presenting, verbal.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal/external partners.
• Experience with MR pulse sequence design and image reconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site point of contact for Siemens and customer at the Collaboration site.
• Coordinate with Siemens Leadership, Applications, Sales and Service teams.
• Develop and manage collaboration projects with academic partners.
• Drive MR research and translate findings into MR products.
• Develop prototypes of novel MR techniques and evaluate results.
• Support product development and integration of new features.
• Create content for articles, abstracts, and marketing materials.
• Educate colleagues on clinical research issues.
