Job summary

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI) at the Atlanta VA Health Care System, part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, performs MRI examinations with adherence to SAR guidelines and patient safety within the Radiology MRI section.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain quality examinations while adhering to SAR limits and safety protocols.
• Perform a wide range of MRI studies (spine, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities) and MR angiography.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings, position patients, monitor during procedures, and assist with post-exam care.
