VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead quality on high-volume metal components for consumer technology.

You will drive yield optimization, establish SPC, govern PFMEAs, and lead 8D investigations, partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and Customer Quality teams to prevent escapes during ramped production. You will own production quality documentation and work with supplier quality on material-induced defects, while leading daily quality standups to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Quality Engineering experience in consumer technology or high-volume metal production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Engineering, or related field; hands-on experience considered.
• Deep command of high-volume quality tools (8D, SPC/Cpk, GD&T, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA/Gauge R&R, AQL).
• ISO 9001/ISO 13485 knowledge and experience with high-rate production ramps.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary technical quality authority for assigned consumer electronics lines and analyze line yield data.
• Lead cross-functional root-cause investigations and enforce CAPA across production.
• Own PFMEA, QCP, and SPC monitoring for CTQ features and changes.
• Coordinate with customer quality teams on FAIR approvals and line qualification audits.
• Oversee ECO change controls to avoid output disruption.
• Evaluate incoming material quality and partner with supplier quality to resolve defects.
• Lead daily quality standups with engineering and floor teams.
