Fort Worth, TX company is seeking an MQ Engineer to join their team for a contract opportunity.

Responsible for leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.
Contract Duration: 5 Months
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Willingness to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends)
- 3+ years’ experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
- 3+ years’ experience troubleshooting issues in a complex enterprise environment
- Design and implement integration solutions leveraging WebSphere MQ
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux is a plus
- Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface at all organization levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Airline Industry experience
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
