Job summary

Beyond Energy Services and Technology is seeking an MPD Supervisor to lead a field team in the Woodlands/Houston area, coordinating with rig personnel and service teams to ensure safe, efficient MPD operations.

You will supervise field install and operation of MPD jobs, manage on-site client relationships, review post-well performance, and contribute to design, testing, and training while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 7 years oilfield experience and 2 years as MPD Supervisor.
• MPD-related experience may be considered for trainees.
• Knowledge of slinging and lifting overhead loads.
• Understand energized fluids, noxious fumes, high-pressure lines, and O2-deficient atmospheres.
• Familiar with Process & Information Diagrams and Flow Systems; regulatory codes & safety policy.
• Basic electronics; advanced mechanics and hydraulics; familiarity with drilling issues.
• Competent with Microsoft Office products; strong self-direction and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field installation and operation of MPD jobs with pre-planning and on-site oversight.
• Troubleshoot field operations in operation, maintenance, and repair of MPD equipment.
• Manage client relationships on-site and demonstrate MPD technology as needed.
• Maintain and develop client relationships to optimize service quality and growth.
• Participate in design and supervision of MPD field tests.
• Recommend new approaches and specifications for equipment, software, and procedures.
• Assist in managing optimum pressure control to achieve drilling objectives.
• Contribute to technical training programs for field personnel.
