  • Conduct feasibility studies for new manufacturing technologies and evaluate their potential for integration into existing processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed work instructions within SAP/PEO, and generate Training/SWI documentation for assembly and installation processes.
  • Train and oversee technicians and operators, ensuring effective equipment usage and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Design in-house manufacturing equipment and fixtures, including creating technical drawings using NX.
  • Participate in early prototype builds to characterize product and process critical parameters, ensuring alignment with production requirements.
  • Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate risks in the production system.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • Manage procurement and construction activities, ensuring timely delivery and installation of required equipment.
  • Oversee the successful deployment of production equipment by conducting thorough testing and acceptance at both supplier and production facilities.
  • Support first-unit builds and testing, ensuring that both product and production systems meet quality standards and specifications.

What you need:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop production lines from prototype through to full-scale production.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in 2D and/or 3D CAD software to create manufacturing layouts, assembly models, and detailed part drawings with GD&T.
  • Experience working with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP software, particularly SAP.
  • Strong background in statistical process control (SPC) for process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in presentations and written reports.
  • Highly organized with the ability to stay focused and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong hands-on approach and problem-solving mentality.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Bonus Qualifications:
