Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

Raytheon's Hardware Electrical Engineering Team is looking forjuniorengineers who have electronics knowledge to supportthe design and test of electronicproducts and systems. Our bread and butterareallthings “circuit cards”,and we want you to help us blaze the path!

We'regrowing fast and we want you to grow with us!We'reexpanding our engineering organization dramatically to meet exciting customer demand, andwe'reactively looking for engineers who bring strong foundational skills and a passion for solving hard problems. Industry experience in defense? Not required —we'llinvest in you. If you meet the minimum qualifications, we want to talk. Apply today and take the next step in your engineering career.

What You Will Do

Raytheon's Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team is looking for mid-career engineers who have electronics knowledge to help design robust motor control systems.

The EAP Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Each of these products generally operate in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.

  • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry. This circuitry will dominantly involve 3 phase inverter design, sensor interfacing and controller circuits. Main emphasis is on board-mounted power end use applications.

  • Hands on drafting & designing at a circuit card level.

  • Help to see circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.

  • Drive to meet schedule concerns. Define schedules for circuit level tasking.

  • Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers. Assist in layer stackup definition.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3years experience.
