Job summary

WeRide Silicon Valley is seeking Motion Planning Engineers to craft software that makes critical decisions in autonomous driving. You will build and integrate path planning, behavioral planning and vehicle control algorithms to operate in real-time.

The role requires BS/MS/PhD in a relevant field and hands-on work in motion planning, AI or robotics, with ROS and Linux proficiency. Base pay includes bonus and benefits for a scalable self-driving stack.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering).
• Skilled in numerical optimization techniques or AI/Robotics.
• Proven ability to produce computationally efficient software that meets real-time requirements.

Responsibilities

• Building/Integrating software and algorithms for path planning, behavioral planning and vehicle control.
• Developing/Implementing/Evaluating/Launching algorithms in Robotic motion planning, vehicle modeling and kinematics.
