Truelogic is seeking a Senior Motion Designer / Video Editor for a part-time, 100% remote role with a US-based client. You will craft polished product videos for feature launches, partnerships, and app updates, turning screen recordings and demos into dynamic short-form pieces that convey novelty and drive engagement.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio in product/motion/video work, expert skills in After Effects or Apple Motion, and the ability to work independently while maintaining

Job Summary

With a fast-paced cadence of building and launching new features, our client is looking for a Senior Motion Designer / Video Editor for a Part-time commitment. You will create polished, engaging product videos for feature launches, partnership announcements, and app updates. You will be responsible for turning product experiences, screen recordings, and app interactions into dynamic short-form videos that clearly communicate what’s new while driving excitement. The scope ranges from clean product demos and walkthroughs to high-energy launch teasers and partnership content.

Responsibilities

• Create product launch videos and feature announcement content.

• Edit screen recordings and app demos into clean, engaging product walkthroughs.

• Create short-form videos, typically under 30 seconds, that make new features easy to understand and exciting to try.

• Build launch teasers and hype videos for partnerships involving artists, brands, filters, and other collaborations.

• Use motion graphics and compositing to elevate UI interactions and screen recordings.

• Adapt product content across formats and platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, App Store, and other launch channels.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Strong experience editing video and motion content for digital products, technology companies, consumer apps, or similar environments.

• Demonstrated ability to turn product demos and app interactions into engaging short-form content.

• Strong motion design and compositing skills, particularly when working with UI, screen recordings, and mobile product experiences.

• Proficiency with After Effects, Apple Motion, or comparable professional motion/video tools.

• Ability to work independently and maintain a high creative and production-quality bar.

• Comfort working across both polished launch content and faster, scrappier creative.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant product, motion, or short-form video work (Required)
