Job summary

CG Creative Studios is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to support project-based work across live events, web, video and digital content. This hands-on role requires a motion generalist who can contribute from concept through final animation and collaborate with the team to keep work on brand and on schedule.

Responsibilities include creating high-end motion graphics, developing concepts and storyboards, designing 2D/3D content, building motion systems, and presenting work to clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of motion design or animation experience in an agency, production, broadcast, events or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
• Advanced After Effects skills and strong proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Cinema 4D and 3D motion workflows.
• Proficiency with Figma and Figma-based design workflows.
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into clear, polished visual systems.
• Ability to animate complex ideas using current 2D and 3D techniques and software.
• Experience with generative AI and emerging creative tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present and discuss your work with clients and creative teams.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own complex projects while collaborating closely with creative leadership and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Create high-end motion graphics for live events, web, video and digital applications.
• Develop concepts, look and style frames, storyboards and thumbnails that establish visual direction, sequence and timing.
• Design and animate 2D and 3D content ranging from hero creative to supporting graphics.
• Build flexible motion systems and editor toolkits including lower thirds, logo animations, transitions and related elements.
• Own assigned projects from concept through final delivery while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Present creative ideas and work in progress to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers and editors throughout the creative process.
• Work within approved project schedules and budgets and communicate risks or needs early.
• Explore and apply current creative technologies and AI-assisted workflows where they improve the work.
