Job summary

Jellyfish is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to lead craft-forward motion design for global brands, with a focus on a major client undergoing reinvention. You’ll mix traditional animation with AI-driven approaches, work across the US, UK and Mexico, and mentor junior designers while shaping the agency’s motion practice.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a motion design role at top advertising agency and/or design studio.
• Proven track record of leading motion design and crafting high-quality work.
• Enthusiasm for integrating AI in creative work (where appropriate).
• Strong awareness of digital, social, AI tools and trends.
• Excellent team and client communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with global brands and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Motion Design craft across projects - elevating traditional and AI-forward work.
• Lead hands-on design in Figma and After Effects; leverage GenAI when suitable.
• Collaborate with the Design Director to level up Jellyfish’s design practice.
• Mentor and guide designers across US and Mexico teams.
• Contribute to fast-moving new business pitches.
