Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in San Francisco is seeking a senior video editor to lead post-production for marketing, product, and corporate communications videos. You will create polished motion graphics and build scalable motion design systems that strengthen the brand.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and leadership to translate complex aerospace concepts into clear visual stories, manage color, audio, and delivery across channels, and help evolve Astranis's visual storytelling

Qualifications

• 5+ years editing high-end commercial, technology, documentary, or brand films in a hardware or physical goods company.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating both storytelling and motion graphics.
• Experience building and implementing scalable motion design systems and templates.
• Expert knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender, Davinci Resolve, and AI creative tools and workflows.
• Strong understanding of typography, pacing, composition, and animation.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working with cross-functional teams.

Role

• Experience building scalable motion design systems and templates.

Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.

$100,000—$150,000 USD
